Since early March, I've been part of a community effort - the NE Minneapolis Mask-Makers - to make and supply homemade masks to vulnerable people in our neighborhood.​ As the pandemic rages on, we still have lots of vulnerable neighbors - people without reliable housing, people with chronic diseases, families living in poverty, people living in group housing for a variety of reasons - who need masks. If you'd like to help:

• Make masks! (Here's a good tutorial.) When you're ready to donate, folks in the Twin Cities can fill out the "Supply Masks" form at www.maskmvmt.org and volunteers will come pick your masks up and distribute them to people in need.

• Contact me if you'd like to donate fabric or funds.
